The jar is rounded, the shoulder is prototyped with 8 dragon-transforming fish on folding patterns background. The lower body is casted with 3 “Taoties” on folding patterns background. There is a choke near the base and a flare at the base. The content of the inscription is:
御製
得人昌失人亡一成一旅猶足以王億兆之多豈無忠良與我固金湯
明命己亥
倣周壺尊
Literal Translation:
Made by the Emperor
Having talents means success, losing talents means elimination. My dynasty has been established from only a single fortress and a single army. I’m wondering if there are any people among millions to help me stabilize my reign.
